IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM)

Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Do not remove the relays from the IPDM E/R. Tampering with the relays may cause additional incidents with the vehicle.

REMOVAL

Nissan Maxima. Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect battery negative terminal. Refer to PG-67, "Removal and Installation (Battery)".
  2. Remove the IPDM E/R cover (1) while pressing the pawl (A) at the rear end of the IPDM E/R cover (1).

  1. Disconnect the harness connectors from the IPDM E/R.

  1. While depressing the tabs (A) remove the IPDM E/R (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
