Nissan Maxima Owners Manual: General maintenance
During the normal day-to-day operation of the vehicle, general maintenance should be performed regularly as prescribed in this section. If you detect any unusual sounds, vibrations or smells, be sure to check for the cause or have a NISSAN dealer do it promptly. In addition, it is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer if you think that repairs are required.
When performing any checks or maintenance work, closely observe the "Maintenance precautions" in the "Do-it-yourself" section of this manual.

Sliding motor
Description
The sliding motor LH is installed to the seat frame.
The sliding motor LH is activated with the driver seat control unit.
The seat is slid forward/backward by changing the rotation direction of
sliding motor LH.

P1574 ASCD vehicle speed sensor
Description
The ECM receives two vehicle speed signals via the CAN communication line.
One is sent from combination
meter, and the other is from TCM (Transmission control module). The ECM uses
