Description
DTC B1118 - B1120 SATELLITE SENSOR LH
The satellite sensor LH is wired to the air bag diagnosis sensor unit. The
air bag diagnosis sensor unit will
monitor the satellite sensor LH for
internal failures and its circuits for communication errors.

Diagnosis Procedure
1.HARNESS CONNECTOR
Visually inspect all applicable harness connectors for the following:

the air bag diagnosis sensor unit to the end component
(including any in-line
connectors).

Check the wiring harness for visible damage.
NOTE:
The entire wiring harness should be inspected
from the air bag diagnosis sensor unit to the end component
(including any
in-line connectors).
4.CONFIRM DTC
5.AIR BAG DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT
6.LH SIDE AIR BAG SATELLITE SENSOR
7.RELATED HARNESS
Replace the related harness.

Diagnosis Procedure
1.CONNECTOR INSPECTION
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Disconnect all the unit connectors on CAN communication system.
Check terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose
connection.
